Internet on TV is the most innovative form of technology created by mankind in the past generation, because it combines two of the most sophisticated technology discoveries of the past 60 years. We all know how important TV has been and still is for the entire world and of course it’s not a secret what the Internet did to our planet in the past 10 years. People today are watching TV and browsing the Internet constantly, all day long and the combination of the two is simply the thing that makes most sense.

 

Internet on TV requires a slightly different hardware than what we’re used to see and TV sets should really turned into little computers, as our computers are somehow turning into little TV sets. This is probably the introduction to the new hardware that will cancel the concept of TV set and PC. Everything will be one and run exactly in the same way. Of course we know that the feed for video and Internet data is exactly the same already and the providers are either cable or satellite and this will make the final switch much smoother and faster.

 

However, Internet on TV is something that we need to start to learn and consider for our future media activities. Things are not anymore a matter of remote control and fixed channels, everything nowadays is interactive, it is about menus, it is about speed and especially, it is about information. People that are watching something, they also want to know what’s behind that particular show. Only the Internet can provide real-time information and data of any specific item.
